From the recording Sojourners
This track is a supplication of thankfulness. My sojourn has been marked by the full range of interactions I’ve had with people. I realize that those experiences, both “good” and “bad”, have been important for my growth and development. I also understand that I may not have been my best self when my path crossed with others. That’s why the lyrics request that “…when it’s all said and done, and I return back to the beginning – may all my good deeds and intentions be mentioned…and all of my faults be forgiven.” Ebonie Pierce is featured on the flute.
